What is a Disciple of Jesus?

At Liberty Christian Fellowship, we believe a disciple of Jesus is more than just a follower—it's a life-changing journey of faith, transformation, and purpose. Rooted in Matthew 4:19, where Jesus says, “Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men,” we define a disciple of Jesus as someone who:

As disciples, we embrace the work of the Holy Spirit in our lives, growing in love, joy, peace, patience, and all the fruits of the Spirit.

As fishers of men, we are invited to share the Good News, serve others, and live out His love in a broken world.
